Ivory

I must confess, Ivory has been one of my family's favorite bar soap. Ever since I was a little girl, I remember seeing a bar of Ivory in our house and using it. I remember bathing all of our babies (my cousins, my nieces, my nephews and even my kids) with a bar of Ivory. Ivory has been a trusted brand for years in our family and I have always used the Ivory bar to wash my face and clean my body because its an effective way to cleanse our sensitive skin but I recently found out the many uses of an Ivory soap.

Fun ways to use your Ivory:
- Body Cleanser - the old fashioned way!
- Face Wash At 99.44% pure with no harsh ingredients, Ivory is a gentle cleanser for your face
- Laundry Flakes - Test it out as a laundry detergent/to wash those delicates
- Makeup Brush Cleaner - Look to Ivory to clean up those makeup brushes once and for all!
- Soap Arts & Crafts Project Carve Ivory or melt it down and use a mold to create an Ivory sculpture (the kids  will love it!)
- Liquid Soap -
Grate the bar of soap and add to a large pot of water (1 bar : 10 cups of water).  Add 1 tbs of glycerin.  Cook the mixture on medium – low heat, stirring until the soap dissolves (approximately 2 mins).  Let the mixture cool completely and then funnel it into a liquid soap dispenser.  And voila, you have an inexpensive and great liquid soap!
- Go to Spot Treatment - Have a pesky stain? No need to go out and buy a stain stick… Ivory is a great spot treater!
- Gardening Life Saver - Before getting to work on your garden, rub some Ivory soap on your fingertips.  This will keep your skin stain free from the dirt. WHO KNEW?!
- Soap Crayons - Let your kids draw on mirrors, cars and bathtubs with your Ivory bar. Best part, they are cleaning while having fun! If only you can incorporate this into everything your child plays with!
- The Great Microwave Experiment - Place the bar of soap in the middle of your microwave.  Cook on high for two minutes, and watch as the soap begins to grow and erupt.  Let the soap cool for a few minutes before letting your kids play with it.  Best part is, you can still use the soap for bath time afterwards!

Plus did you know that Ivory is one of the least expensive bars and body washes on a per oz basis!

I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster and Ivory as a participant in the Mom VoxBox campaign
