My FREE $400 find!

For months, I've been trying to find cheap two huge tall gold lamps but I have failed every time. Everything I see costs $200 each or more. But today, while I was driving around my neighborhood, I found two huge tall lamps at a curb side and it's free! It's not gold but I figured, maybe, I can just paint it. So I took it and went to the store to look for that perfect shade of gold paint but it was out of stock. So, I asked the attendant if there's more stock at the back and whoa-la, she came back with an opened bottle of paint and she said I can have it for FREE because it was already half empty and it was intentionally left by the crafters who had a party in their store since they don't need it anymore. 

OMG, I'm so excited to share my first before and after that's FREE! After painting the lamps, there was about 1/4 of the bottle left and I went crazy painting the other decorations that was in our storage for years. I can't believe that a half empty 16 fl oz bottle can paint so much!

Did I told you guys that I love Old Navy & Crowdtap! I was recently given the opportunity to sample & share the latest Old Navy Activewear and I went to the store to pick up an activewear top and pants. There are tons of styles to choose from and we tried on a couple. 

I tried on the Women's Active GoDRY Running Tops first in black with the Women's Active Compression Pants and I love it but wanted to try for more styles! BUT the pants is a keeper! It feels so comfy especially in the waist line!

  
then I tried the Women's Active Micro Performance Fleece Jackets and I love it so much. It was light weight, it looks fashionable and you can even wear it as a regular everyday jacket but I was thinking of a top that I can use to exercise with.

And finally, I went back to Women's Active GoDRY Running Tops in retro violet. I just want more colors in my closet! Plus I look slim on it!

My mom was not with me when she got hers but she said she got the Women's Active Micro Performance Fleece Jacket in black and Women's Active Compression Pants in carbon! She said she feels 10 years younger wearing them!

Overall, all the Old Navy Activewear that we tried on feels comfortable, has the best quality (you can tell by the fabric used and stitching), everything was so pretty, is true to size and IT IS SLIMMING.  Plus, one of the many reason I love Old Navy is that they always have a sale so when we went there, we got a couple more pieces for my hubby, me & our kids!

Pumpkin Spice/Pie cupcake:

Cupcake:

1 Pumpkin Spice Cake Mix

1 3.4 oz Pumpkin Spice Instant Pudding Mix

1/3 C flour

1/3 C oil

1/3 C sour cream

1 1/2 C water

3 t Torani Pumpkin Pie Syrup

4 eggs

Frosting:

1  8 oz package cream cheese, softened

1/4 C butter, softened

3 t Torani Pumpkin Pie Syrup

dash salt

3-4 C powdered sugar

2-3 T milk

In a large mixing bowl, or in your stand mixer combine the Cake Mix, Pudding Mix and flour. Stir it around to combine. Add the oil, water, vanilla, sour cream and eggs. Mix on low for about 1 minute. Then mix on medium speed until the batter is smooth and silky. This should take about 3 minutes. Line your muffin tins with cupcake liners. Fill each liner 3/4 of the way full with your cake batter. Bake at 350 for 13-15 minutes. Let the cupcakes cool on a wire rack. While cupcakes are cooling, make a frosting by  beating the cream cheese and butter together in your mixer. Add the the Torani Pumpkin Spice Syrup and dash of salt. Add the powdered sugar and 1 T of the milk. Mix well. If the frosting it too thick add more milk. If it’s too runny add a bit more powdered sugar then swirl on top of the cupcake!
